Supports businesses to adopt sustainable business practices
Sustainable Inclusive Business (SIB-K) is a knowledge centre established under the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA). KEPSA is an apex body of the private sector in Kenya established in 2003 to drive economic development through year-on-year improvements in the business environment by addressing cross-cutting business issues, driving investments, and addressing socio-economic issues with partners. SIB-K aims to drive and catalyze change through inspiration, initiative, facilitation, and connection. Hinged on the premise that businesses are the driving force behind the growth of any country's economy, SIB-K supports businesses to adopt sustainable business practices by finding a balance between the People, Planet, and Profits. SIB-K started as a project funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (EKN) in 2015. For over 6 years, the project has been keen to support businesses in adopting sustainable business practices. It was envisioned that the project would transition to a department under KEPSA and this has been achieved.
